This is the Void

The Final Void is a collaborative effort between lifelong friends that bonded over Disgust records and Friday night dishwashing shifts at a local pizza shop (RIP). We are inspired by the zines and blogs of the not-so-distant past that shared records + downloads by bands we may never have encountered locally.

The main focus of our content is on international punk, hardcore, anarcho, d-beat, and related cool shit from the 1980s to today. We might slip in a book or heavy metal record review sometimes too.

As the internet descends into a capitalist hellscape dominated by social media algorithms designed to convert you into one more sale for the ad machine, we thought it would be fun to create an online zine that exists solely as a free creative outlet with no strings attached. In that spirit we've made every effort to respect your digital privacy. We can't stop Bandcamp embeds on our site from using analytics cookies (believe me we tried), but our content and our site are absolutely not tracking you. We don't want your data.
